I'm Buzz. I build Mabel, I set up every account myself, and my email is at the bottom of every page on this site.

Mabel exists because of a gap I kept seeing: the owner of a small HVAC or plumbing shop is the best technician on the truck and the entire front office. When he's elbow-deep in a furnace, the phone rings anyway — and most callers won't leave a voicemail. They just dial the next company. The big software platforms have answers for this, but they're built for companies with office managers and CSR teams, not for the shop where the owner's cell is the business line.

I've spent my career on both sides of this problem — years leading customer service teams, then years building AI automation systems. Mabel is those two things put together: a receptionist that answers the way a good front desk would, backed by someone who treats your phone line like it's his own.

That's also why Mabel is deliberately careful. She never quotes prices you haven't approved, never promises appointment times, and never guesses.
